Hannah Rose Blakeley is a fifth-year senior majoring in Interdisciplinary Studies (art history and cultural theory) and French. As an intern at the Michael C. Carlos Museum, Hannah Rose is curating an online exhibition of original prints and drawings by 19th-century Belgian Symbolist Félicien Rops (1833–1898) from a collection of more than 150 works recently donated to the Carlos by the Stuart A. Rose Manuscript, Archives, and Rare Book Library. She is also a SIRE research fellow at Emory’s Fox Center for Humanistic Inquiry. During her undergraduate years, Hannah Rose worked as a peer tutor with the Emory Writing Center, a study abroad adviser with the Center for International Programs Abroad, and a teaching assistant for three courses. She also has sung with several choral groups and is currently a member of the Atlanta Master Chorale and the Emory Mastersingers. An avid traveler, Hannah Rose has studied abroad in England, Austria, and France and plans to pursue a PhD in art history.
